What we do for homeowners
Full roof replacements with tear-off, deck inspection and manufacturer-specification installation. Targeted repairs where the roof has life left. Storm damage restoration with the insurance work handled alongside it. Free annual inspections.
We also handle the rest of the building envelope — gutters, siding, windows, exterior painting and fencing — which matters more than it sounds, because storm claims usually involve several of those at once and it is far simpler to have one contractor document and repair all of it.
Older homes and newer ones
Established Arlington and Fort Worth neighbourhoods have housing stock with genuine variety: original decking, sometimes multiple roof layers, ventilation designed to a standard nobody uses any more. These roofs need assessing rather than measuring. We frequently find that correcting attic airflow does more for the life of the new roof than any upgrade to the shingle itself.
Newer developments in Plano, McKinney, Frisco-adjacent Collin County and the growth corridors have the opposite issue: builder-grade roofs installed to a price, all reaching the end of their service life at roughly the same time, on streets where every house was built the same year. If your neighbours are re-roofing, yours is likely due.
Materials, honestly assessed
Architectural asphalt is the sensible default for most homes here — good wind ratings, wide colour range, proven in this climate.
Class 4 impact-resistant shingles cost more upfront and are the upgrade we recommend most often in DFW, because hail is not an occasional event here and most Texas carriers discount premiums for Class 4.
Metal roofing costs considerably more and lasts considerably longer, with better reflectivity through the summer.
We will price the options rather than assuming the cheapest is what you want or the most expensive is what you need.
Why the certification matters
CertainTeed Select ShingleMaster is not a badge you buy. It requires demonstrated installation standards and it is what allows us to offer CertainTeed's extended warranty coverage — protection most contractors are simply not authorised to provide.
The practical point: a manufacturer warranty is only worth anything if the roof was installed to specification and the company that installed it is still trading when you need it. We are locally owned, we have been in Arlington over a decade, and we are not going anywhere after storm season.
